Hello blog friends, today I have a set of three quilt square sympathy cards to share with you. I had a friend over yesterday to make quilt cards -- I decided to base mine on the Color Throwdown challenge this week.....Blue, Orange, and Gray.
Before die cutting with the quilt die, I stamped all my papers with a delicate rose background stamp in coordinating colors. I love the sweet feminine look it adds to the cards.
Supplies and Tools:
- My Favorite Things Quilt Square Die
- Mercer Rose Background Stamp (Memory Box)
- Be Encouraged Stamp Set (Sweet n Sassy)
- Mini Pearls
- Mini Square Punch
- Poppies and Honeycomb Die Set (Provo Craft Cuttlebug)
- Versamark Watermark Ink
- Hickory Smoke Distress Ink (Ranger)
- These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
- Worn Lipstick, Faded Jeans

Oh, wow, Esther! These cards are amazing and yet they look simple to execute. What a beautiful sentiment, too. I love how you stamped the background to make the paper resemble a calico print -- perfect for quilts. I'm so happy to see these in our Pick a Pattern challenge at Double D!

pretty color combo and I just love the size of the print you used for the stamping, works great with this die and love your added flowers to it also!
