The Card Concept - Ornate Ornaments

Hello friends!
I'm so excited to announce that I've been ask to design for

Every two weeks they post a beautiful new inspiration photo and everyone is welcome to play along using the colors, the theme, textures, items, or just anything from the picture as your starting point.
Come check it out!!

Today's two week challenge is: Ornate Ornaments
I was inspired by both the ornaments and the teal color to create this Classy Elegant Christmas card.

I decided to ink up an embossing folder for my background and add a little silver embossing along the edges. The ornaments are Cottage Cutz die cuts embossed in silver with recessed accents colored with distress inks and embossed in iridescent embossing powder.

Supplies and Tools:
  • Mini Holiday Greens Dies (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
  • Ornament Die Cut (Cottage Cutz)
  • Hello Doily Dies (Sizzix)
  • Holly Ribbon Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug)
  • Ribbon
  • Versamark Watermark Ink
  • Silver Embossing Powder
  • Iridescent Embossing Powder
  • These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
    • Broken China
    • Cracked Pistachio
