Stamp on your Envelope

It's time for our monthly Designer's Choice Challenge over on The House That Stamps Built. This month it was Patti's turn to pick and she chose: "Stamp on your Envelope" as our theme for this week.

I created an address box on my envelope using a mask and the RI peppermint stamp to match the candy stripes on my card. After stamping (and painting in the stripes with distress oxide) I added a layer of iridescent embossing powder to make them sparkle!

Supplies and Tools:
  • Repeat Impression Stamps
  • Prismacolor pencils
  • Versamark Watermark Ink
  • White Embossing Powder
  • Iridescent Embossing Powder
  • Glitter
  • Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (Ranger)
  • White Acrylic Paint
  • Diagonal Stripes stencil (Echo Park Paper)
  • Tree Border Die (Cottage Cutz)
  • Happy Holidays Die (Cottage Cutz)
  • These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
    • Candied Apple
    • Walnut Stain

Oh so many things about this card and envelope made me smile. First off I love penguins and then I saw your envelope - how creative. I know who ever gets this card is going to smile when they see it. Great job.

so much gorgeous detail here Esther giving a wonderful textured look to your card. I really love the way you used the candy on the card as well as the envelope. The images are so cute and I love the touches of dimension you have added here and there-such a wonderful card and so good to see at Time Out x
