Hello friends! Today my friend, Helen, and I are collaborating using Polka Dot Orchard's "Penguin Love" digital stamp set. I created this mini cut-away-front Valentine card, and Helen made an adorable penguin shape card. (click here to see her sweet card)
Instead of coloring the heart the penguin is holding, I die cut one from red card stock and using my xacto knife I carefully cut this little guys flippers so I could tuck it in behind. I created a second (smaller) one to decorate the inside of my card (pictured below).
Supplies and Tools:
- Penguin Love Digital Stamp Set (Polka Dot Orchard)
- Canson Mixed Media Paper
- Prismacolor Pencils
- Lace Hearts Dies (Spellbinders)
- Nesting Heart Dies (Firefly)
- Eyelet Lace Border Punch (Martha Stewart)
- Red thread

The penguin is just too cute! I love it because it is wintery and it makes a great Valentine!
Both cards are so cute - but anything with penguins has my heart.
Oh hello, you sweet, adorable penguin! Esther, I adore the way you switch between types of cards so smoothly. Both are cuter then cute!
