Hello Friends! I'm up on the Sweet n Sassy blog today sharing this Paper Bag Pocket of Encouragement. It's stuffed full of Bible verses, hymns, and inspirational sayings to cheer and encourage.
Here's how I created my pocket
(Maybe you'll see a pink and white polka-dot / denim version later this year!!)
- Start with a lunch sack
- Fold the top down and glue in place
- Punch or die cut a partial circle in the center of the bottom flap
- Use decorative scissors along the top of the bottom flap
- Fold bottom flap up
- Cut designer paper to decorate your panels

Gorgeous! I have never seen one of these before....it's absolutely delightful! All the stamping looks fantastic too. Thanks for joining us at Little Red Wagon again.
I so love this idea, such great encouragement cards inside, love all the little bees on them and the cute flowers!
Great idea Esther, it looks gorgeous.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
Oh I am totally loving your pocket cards - I keep procrastinating!!! But this one so far is my favorite. This card would be a gift in itself. I am always looking for unique little gifties to send to my chemo buddies. So instead of baking cookies today maybe I should make a pocket card.
Wow, what a fabulous gift, and how appropriate for these troubling times. I love all the positivity in your beautiful bag. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.
This is so beautiful and encouragement is needed so very much right now. I just know it will bring a lot of joy to the recipient. ~ Blessings, Tracey
