He Knows and He Cares

Have you ever felt crushed under a load of cares till it almost took your breathe away, and just when you needed a friend the most, no one was there? The phone was silent, the mailbox (and inbox) were empty, and you felt so alone.  The people you counted on to have your back, didn't. The ones you looked to for encouragement were missing. Everyone seemed caught up in their own lives, and too busy to notice your pain. The world went on without you, and you were left to struggle on your own. In times like that, did you wish for a friend to listen with empathy, and someone who would truly understand what you were going through? Did you long for a warm embrace from someone who really cared?

If you've been there then let me point you to someone who loves you deeply and cares about your heartaches. He knows you better than anyone else does, and understands you when you don't understand yourself. No problem is too trivial, no suffering too small, and no difficulty is unimportant to Him. He always has time to listen and promises to NEVER leave you or forsake you. His name is JESUS! His arms are open wide, His heart is filled with compassion, and He's waiting for you to run to Him. You don't have to use words, He knows how to interpret your sighs, groans, and tears.  "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." I Peter 5:7

This song has been my prayer on more than one occasion when words failed to express what my heart was feeling.

Hear My Heart (Joel Lindsey / Wayne Haun / Sheri W Easter)

Sometimes I feel no one's ever been in this place before.
This is hard, and I'm not sure that I can do this anymore.
I know someday I'll look back and all this won't seem real,
But Lord right now I need you to know just how I feel.
"When there are no words to say
And no prayer that I can pray, hear my heart.
When I don't have strength to try
And I've cried all I can cry, hear my heart.
Cause you know every fear and every doubt I cannot speak.
You know all the ways I need you and all the ways I'm weak, so I'll be quiet
So you can hear my heart."

I love this. It would be a terrible thing if we didn't know that He cared and loved us. [Bunny]

Beautiful page and post, I just know there are many out there that needed to hear these words, may the Holy Spirit touch their hearts and bring them to peace and our Lord's Saving grace! Love the hymn too, thanks for sharing!
