Today I have a bright and cheery Christmas card to share with you that features the Winter Birds stamp set from Sweet n Sassy Stamps. I really wanted a blue background for my holly, but my attempts to color it with markers left a lot to be desired. So.....I did a little ink smooshing with salty ocean distress oxide and then stamped my holly over top. I colored it with Arteza real brush pens and added some black paint splatters for the finishing touch.

I love your sweet birdie, so cute in the wreath, it sounds like you aren't sure about how your background turned out but it looks fabulous! Like the touch with the scalloped border! I just worked on making some birds that I hope to use for some winter/Christmas cards :)
A bright and happy Christmas creation, many thanks for joining in with our Animals theme at Allsorts challenge this week.
