I'm up on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps blog today sharing this cheery autumn card that features handmade buttons that I created using some of the smaller images from the Happy Scarecrow set.
Do It Yourself Buttons:
- color and die cut the images you want to turn into buttons
- die cut a matching piece of thin cardboard (cracker/cereal boxes work great!)
- glue your image and cardboard cutout together
- punch two holes in the center for buttonholes
- thread some pretty ribbon or twine through and tie

Beautiful Fall cards with so many pretty layers! Thanks for playing along our September challenge at Die Cut Divas.
I saw this card at the Word Art Wednesday linkup and had to come visit your blog! Such a brilliant idea to make the die cuts into buttons! Lovely fall colors, too!
That was such a fabulous idea to make buttons from these stamps, such a great layout and love your touch of lace with the jute and little doily at the bottom peeking out!
Great idea for a button card without the buttons - no extra postage on this card. I love the card and the buttons.
So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas for the September challenge.
Amazing card, yet again! Buttons?? I had to scroll back, now I see what you did there! Thanks for sharing your wonderful card on Krafty Chicks Challenge.
