Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is celebrating their 15th birthday this month with lots of fun things. Today is the start of their two day Stamp-a-thon on their VIP Facebook page. There will be challenges, lives, and lots of prizes so be sure to check it out. I get to kick things off with the first challenge which is to "Use a stencil" on your creation.
To create my background I sponged three colors of distress ink through the quilt stencil. I then used a Prismacolor pencil to outline each block and added depth. The script was added with a palette knife and white gesso.
