Happy Memorial Day USA friends. Today I have a super cute card that features Cocoa Mouse all done up in red, white and blue.
Instead of using my stencil the regular way, I applied ink to it, spritzed it with water, and then stamped it on my paper. Since the stars were pretty easy to line up again, I actually stamped it a couple times to get the blue as dark as I wanted it.

A lovely effect creating the background by stamping with the stencil. Thank you for joining us at the Allsorts Challenge.

that is a great technique and I love the rustic/distressed look it gave to it! That little mouse peeking out from behind the star does make me smile :)
