He Has Risen

"On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?  He is not here; he has risen!" Luke 24:1-6
I'll never be able to comprehend the amazing love that led my Savior to the cross, where He exchanged my brokenness for His righteousness, but my heart responds with worship on this Easter Sunday morning. His grace has changed my life!

To create this faith dex card I randomly stamped the Tim Holtz roses stamp in vintage photo distress ink on watercolor paper. Next, I stamped some music in the same color and inked all the edges. I hot glued some lace and burlap ribbon across the bottom of my card for added texture and interest. The butterfly was die cut from mixed media paper and inked with broken china & cracked pistachio distress oxide with just a touch of vintage photo on the edges. The swirls were cut from kraft card stock and inked with vintage photo distress ink to darken them up a bit. Some Prima flowers and a Scripture complete my project.
