I'm back with another card featuring the August Release from Creative Worship Stamps. To create the background I ink smooshed fossilized amber distress oxide onto watercolor paper and stamped over it with one of the Funky Textures 2 stamps. I inked the edges in vintage photo distress ink to give it a vintage feel. All the images were stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens.

This is gorgeous, Esther! Smooshing the oxide made for beautiful color on the sunflowers. Sweet birdie and the black silhouette window is the perfect background for the lovely scene. I must check out the stamp store. That verse is beautiful. Thanks for sharing at A Cut Above's August Challenge.
You can never go wrong with sunflowers and birds, what a beautiful card you created!

Gorgeous as always, Esther! I love the rich, warm tones from the background, to the sunflowers and to the bird. Beauty is all around us and your card depicts that perfectly. A fantastic use of those dies! Thanks so much for playing along with us over at A Cut Above, I hope we see you back again soon!
