It's time for our last challenge of 2024 over on The Card Concept blog.
Today's challenge is: Christmas Wreath
Everyone is welcome to play along using the colors, the theme,
textures, items, or just anything from the picture as your starting point.
I was inspired by the theme and colors when I created my mixed media card.
Is it even Christmas if I don't pull out these three Tim Holtz dies and create something? (smile) Seriously, I use this same combo every year, changing it up just a bit. This year I die cut the wreath and flowers from colored card stock and added shading with distress inks. I printed a shabby wood digital paper for behind my window and stamped the text background. Supplies and Tools:
- Cathedral Window Bigz die (Tim Holtz - Sizzix)
- Funky Wreaths Dies (Tim Holtz - Sizzix)
- Festive Bouquet Dies (Tim Holtz - Sizzix)
- Vintage Christmas Images Stamp Set (Stamp Simply)
- Shabby Wood Digital Papers (Altendi)
- White Acrylic Paint Splatters
- These colors of Distress Ink (Ranger):
- Rustic Wilderness, Aged Mahogany

Simply stunning, Esther! The black and white, vintage paper is beautiful. I love the church window die cut too and the wreath is a perfect pop of color. The spatters are a great touch.
another beauty, love the pretty flowers on the wreath and hanging in the window is perfect, great wood background and the splatters/snow tops it off perfectly, when you have a great design it is worth using again :)
