Color vs. Vintage

Today I have another set of bookmarks to share with you featuring products from Creative Worship Stamps. I started out to make a vintage set and then decided to do a color vs vintage set. I can't decide which set I like better - what's your vote?

For the vintage bookmarks: I die cut the bookmarks from watercolor paper and stamped my images in waterproof ink. I inked around the edges in vintage photo distress ink and added splatters in the same color. After adding just a bit of color (in browns and green), I added black acrylic paint splatters and some tiny black rhinestones.  The final step was punching a hole and adding a muslin ribbon

For the colored bookmarks: I die cut the bookmarks from watercolor paper and stamped my images in waterproof ink. I colored the images with Arteza Real Brush Pens and added white and black acrylic paint splatters. Some tiny black rhinestones and gingham ribbon complete this set.

Thank for the inspiration, I made bookmarks for my Bible study group two years ago for Easter. After seeing your pretty bookmarks I've decided it's time to do it again.
Thanks! 🥰. Yours are beautiful.

They are both gorgeous, I will have to say, probably because I am a vintage lover, that those are my favorites but I do like the color version too. I like the touch of the muslin on the vintage ones too!

Esther, these are absolutely lovely bookmarks! I love the watercolor look of them and I love how you created two similar images, but colored them so differently. Even though they both are wonderful, my vote is for the neutral ones on the left. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate your participation!
