To create this art journaling page I started by ink smooshing two colors of distress oxide onto the page. I stamped off the faith sentiment on a scrap piece of paper to make it lighter on this page. After stamping the swirls from Funky Textures I decided they were too dark, so I added a little white gesso over top to tone them down. I masked off the sentiment with Scotch tape so I could stamp it in two portions, one at the top and one at the bottom of the page. Both were outlined with a black marker to make them stand out a bit more. The lion was stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens and splattered with white acrylic paint. A bit of drywall tape and silver thread complete this layout.
