Praise the Lord

Today I have a quick and easy card that features the NEW stamp of the month from Creative Worship Stamps, So Happy for You. To create the background this card I used distress oxides and the Bold Blooms stencil on watercolor paper. Next I die cut it with the Postage Stamp Cover Plate and inked around the edges with Tumbled Glass distress oxide. I stamped a few postal themed images in  blue ink and the main sentiment in black. Here's a fun way to use a full butterfly stamp to create a half butterfly image.

 1. Stamp two of the same side of the butterfly. 2. Color and cut out 3. Glue one half on top the other, moving the back one slightly higher than the front. 4. Ahere the 2nd antennae.

Beautiful, I love the stenciling in the background with that postage die, pretty color combo's! Terrific idea to use the stamped butterfly like that... He is able indeed, great sentiment!
