Here is yet
another sympathy card - this time for a single man who recently lost his grandpa. I think I'm finally "getting the hang" of masculine cards -- they're not as hard for me to come up with as they once were. I still have to resist adding ribbons and flowers as embellishments from time to time -- and think twine/jute/burlap/twigs instead!
Supplies used:
- Stamp - Blue Ridge Impressions
- Black embossing powder
- stamped image in Versamark and embossed
- Vellum
- Bic Markers
- colored the backside of the vellum image with
- Blue Eyelets
- Blue/White Cardstock
- Cotton Twine
- tied all those Figure 8 knots in (click here for a simple tutorial)

This is a great masculine card! The design could work just as easily for a birthday, too. Those knots are the perfect accent with the sea theme!
Gorgeous! Any man would love it!
