Yesterday was the first quiet Sunday afternoon I've had in a long time. I tried to take advantage of the fact that we didn't have any company to spend a little time creating -- but alas - I must have lost all my creativity! I guess it must be true -- "Use it or lose it!"
The above card was the product of my frustrated afternoon -- a simple leaf wreath that uses only 5 ingredients.
- Leaf Punch
- Small Alphabet set (Studio G)
- Scoring Board
- Ribbon
- Paper
I'm hoping that a visit from my creative Sister-in-law this week will spark something and get my "craft juices" flowing again!

I love it! Just love it. Would love to copy this-giving you credit. Sometimes the "mojo" just isn't flowing for me either. I think you did super on this and I love it.

It probably took you all afternoon to glue the leaves in place. :-) Simple is good -- especially in this case. I hope you show us everything you and your sister-in-law create!
I think it's fantastic! I've never had enough patience to do all the punching and gluing for one of those wreaths, but I love how they turn out.
I know how you feel about creativity, though. You can't force it, no matter how much you want to. I've also discovered that sometimes I need to put my projects away and look at them the next day. Usually I either like them or can figure out a way to salvage them.
Have fun with your sister-in-law!
Did you seriously stick all those little leaves on the card? It's beautiful! Thanks for sharing some fall inspiration. ~ Abby
