I made the stuffed mason jar attached to the side by
- stamping my jar stamp
- layering a piece of batting and another piece of muslin
- sewing around it
- lightly penciling "friends" on the front
- embroidering over the saying
- coloring over the whole thing lightly with colored pencils
- adding a few buttons
Just the tag:
Here's what the rag balls look like:
Of course the country look includes baskets - so I put my clothes pins in this one and added a torn strip of gingham fabric and a stuffed paper bag star to it.
The paper bag star was made by
- stamping a background stamp onto a paper bag
- cutting out a star shape
- sewing another paper star shape to the back
- stuffing it with batting

This is wonderful, I love everything you've made, especially that cute fabric tag. The digital work is GREAT, I'm so impressed. Thanks for sharing your lovely cozy and warm laundry area. ~ Abby
It's coming together beautifully, Esther. Really like your curtain. Laundry rooms are so utilitarian we sometimes forget they should be beautiful, too.
