I've wanted to make those cute little flower stems with
Flower Soft for a long time!
If you've followed my blog very long you may have picked up the fact that I like to save money on my crafting supplies.
Today's post illustrates that!
Since I don't have any rubber boot stamps, I simply searched on-line for a coloring page to fit the bill.
I found one! The great thing about it is: I can enlarge or scale it down for any size project!
Another free flower soft container -- this time a basket from Stamper's Quest!
Last but not least a flower pot coloring page.
In keeping with the theme of this post (cheap ways to imitate the real thing - or something like that!) ---here's three tutorials for making "colored fluff" that looks like flower soft with Styrofoam balls.
1. This one uses reinkers
2. This one uses both reinkers and distress ink pads
3. This video tutorial says you can even use food coloring!

I wanted these boots on Saturday! I love the idea of making my own flower soft, too. Thanks for all the cool links.
These are all fantastic! I love how you made those stems and the wonderful scripture you used. The embossing on the first is really striking!
Great cards! Love that you find your own containers for the stems. Love the images you found! The flowersoft looks great against the Kraft card stock too.
You are amazing. You know that, right?
Those flower stems are so delicate and pretty.
I loce ALL your cards. I am a frugal crafter too. Thanks for the tips.

Blessing hugs,

Cool! I have some Spring Flower Soft that one of my cousins gave to me, and I like it. It's good to know how to make some other shades of my own. I like all the different ways you used to contain your flower stems too. Blessings!
Love the cards and the flower soft! Very sweet and wonderful verses shared!
The flower stems are great! Love the quotes on the cards.
Thanks so much for joining us @ Word Art Wednesday.
Wow, love your cards. I love the flower soft in it. Never worked with it before, but I do like what it does to a card! And I love the quote on it too.
Thanks so much for sharing your art with us on WAW.
