Here's a plate of Carmel Cinnamon Rolls I made as a Get Well Gift for a man in our church who recently had surgery.
I got the recipe from Chef In Training -- they were yummy!
Here's a little secret to making up an attractive food gift for not a lot of money: I shop thrift stores for LIKE NEW specialty plates/tins/bins/bowls/etc.
I bring them home and wash them up good and then create attractive gifts to give for birthdays/get well gifts/ etc.
The one above is from Dayspring -- you can see it here (and also see that it sold for $10 plus $10 shipping!) -- I only paid something like $1 for it!
Often I find things that stores have donated to thrift store -- still new w/tags attached!
I included one of my recycled greeting card tags (this post) to dress up the gift and write a little note on!
