Antique Fishing Basket

I had a lot of fun creating these masculine fishing basket cards.
Once again, coloring pages came to my rescue in the absence of fish stamps!
Links:

Of course I couldn't stop with one -- I made four!
Supplies used:
  • Coloring pages
  • Valita's  template
  • Houndstooth embossing folder (Provo Craft)
  • Kraft/Dk. Brown cardstock
  • Twigs
  • String
  • Crayola markers
  • Homemade dew drops (made with glitter glue)
  • Tiny Tags Die (Provo Craft)

I absolutely LOVE this! I actually own my Grandfather's original fishing basket and it's something I cherish. I've seen many fishing baskets in antique stores for $150+ and they're not nearly as nice as the one I got from my Grandpa, so I know it's very valuable, but i would NEVER sell it because it connects me to him in a memory. Thanks for sharing this in our challenge, Esther. You gave me a wonderful memory today of a great man of God who I love and miss and this really touched my heart!
Blessings,

WOW!
That brings back memories. My Grandparents fished, maternal Grandmother and paternal Grandfather. Such fun stories, I must tell one day. I love your card.
