Welcoming Touches

This is the last post on my new Farmhouse Style Guest Room

Above you'll see a gift from my sister-in-law that I decorated to fit the room's theme with a tiny handmade doily, old keys, lavender filled pitcher, and another vintage photograph.

The basket on the bed was a gift from my daughter (full of lovely things for Christmas!) -- I'm using it for towels and a welcome note that includes:

~ WIFI password

~ Where to find extra towels, snacks, and sample sized toiltries

In each chair you'll find a cream blanket and a  handmade pillow fitting the rooms theme.

The burlap pillow has a bird's next printed on canvas and sewn to the front, and the green striped pillow has an added pretty doily.

My little antique step ladder has a battery operated candle that comes on automatically at 4:30.

It gives a warm touch and welcoming glow to the room.
