Masculine Sympathy - FREEBIE

As part of the Shelter: Postmarked Ministry team, I often need masculine cards.  Last week I spent an hour making up a set of these using a new FREEBIE I created. (Click here to download).
The faux woodgrain was created by scoring a piece of watercolor paper every 1/2 inch and swiping three shades of brown distress ink down the front. (You can use regular cardstock, but I really like how the texture of watercolor paper looks!) I spritzed my background with just a bit of water and then heat set it with my embossing gun.

Supplies and Tools:
Watercolor paper, Brushed Corduroy/Vintage Photo/Walnut Stain Distress Ink (Tim Holtz), Martha Stewart Scoring Board, Free Printable, Paper Distresser, Ink Applicator, Burlap Twine, Button, Verse from Blue Ridge Impressions, Kraft/Black, Brown Cardstoc, Labels 4 Nestabilities Die (Spellbinders)
