To create my background, I embossed a piece of Kraft cardstock with a star embossing folder and lightly rubbed my white pigment ink over the top. I layered the kraft piece on red cardstock and distressed the edges. The last step was to create a fancy edge using the Scallop Basic Edge dies from My Favorite Things.
All the stamping was done with my watercolor Crayola markers. I simply scribbled on the images with Indigo/Navy Niblets/Midnight Blue markers and then "huffed" on the stamp to add moisture before stamping. I love how the sentiment looks like denim fabric!! Inside I added a strip of lace, denim Washi tape, and some more stars.
Supplies and Tools:
Star Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), White Pigment Ink, Labels 10 Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Scribbled Star stamp (Dollar Tree), Scallop Basic Edge Dies (MFT), Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink (Tim Holtz), Ink Blender (Tim Holtz), Indigo/Navy Niblet/Midnight Blue Crayola Markers, Curious Possibility Stamp Set (Tim Holtz), Lace, Denim Washi Tape, Star Punch
