Lacy Neutrals

Today's card features a background made entirely of border punched strips. I used ten different punches to create this layered lacy look.
After punching the borders, I inked all the edges with brushed corduroy distress ink before adhering them to a piece of kraft cardstock.
The next step was trimming the panel to fit my card front and distressing/inking the edges. I added a coffee stained doily and a pretty posy from Heartfelt Creations.
Supplies and Tools:
Kraft Cardstock, Martha Stewart border punches, Fiskars Border punches, coffee stained doily, Posy Patch Stamps (Heartfelt Creations), White embossing powder, leaf stamp, brushed corduroy/ground espresso distress ink, white button, burlap string, Hello Doily Die Set (Sizzix)
