I just love the deep rich colors and chose to use them as the inspiration for my quilt themed card. I colored my quilt with Prisma color pencils and used a colorless blender pen to set the colors before adding a few light accents with watercolor markers. I then embossed the quilt panel for a little added texture.

So pretty - love old quilts - have some from my mother-in-law that I treasure. Great take on this inspiration photo for this week.
What a pretty quilt you have made! The sentiment is perfect!
So pretty!! Love the embossed texture; it really makes it look like a quilt.
Love this, that quilt background is so pretty, terrific coloring, and pretty embossing of it. I have not heard that sentiment before so cute!
You used the colours beautifully and I love how you added the texture to the quilt, looks so real. Thanks for joining Time Out
This is beautiful, the dry embossing makes it look like a real quilt! Perfect for the challenge!
Wow! Just Wow! This is awesome.
Very pretty, Esther, and the embossing makes it look like real quilting! Beautiful job!
So pretty, Esther ... fabulous texture ... and the detail on your colouring is just brilliant! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
That color scheme looks amazing on yoru quilt, and the dry embossing makes it look soft and cuddly, too! Great to see you in the HeArtful Stamping Challenge!
Quilt cards are the best and I love the bright colors you chose for your quilt squares! Good friends and quilts just seem to go together perfectly somehow :)
Esther, this is absolutely stunning! I love how you used this stamp for this challenge...it made me think of warm quilts my gt. grandmother made for us when we were little.
