Messy Watercolors

My husband bought me a set of watercolor paints I'd been wanting for Valentine's Day. I want to use them with my stamps, but decided to experiment with some messy watercoloring first.
For these first two I used the Anna Griffen butterfly die and to create a stencil to paint inside of. Then I laid the die cut part over top and painted on the details.
Supplies and Tools:
Dies: Butterfly Trio (Anna Griffin)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Hickory Smoke/Black Soot Distress Ink (Tim Holtz), Watercolor Paint (Sonnet)
Stamps: Bitty Grunge (Tim Holtz), Butterfly Fancy

For the second set I painted an outdoor scene and cut it out with nestabilities. I added a die cut deer and a tiny tag sentiment and layered it on an evergreen embossed background.
Neither set is "professional" by any means..... just me having fun and playing around with my paints.
Supplies and Tools:
Dies: Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
Embossing: Evergreen Embossing Folder (Sizzix)
Stamps: Sunny Flowers (Stampendous)

Really like your messy watercoloring - have not heard or done that - (almost all of my watercoloring is messy). LOL Love the outdoor scene you created.
