True Beauty

Today I'm sharing another card made with beautiful Graciellie Designs Digital Stamps. This card features her newly released "True Beauty"set.
Gracie recently added a new line of digital stamps (including the set I'm featuring today) IN SPANISH! To read all about it and enter her GIVEAWAY - CLICK HERE to be taken to her blog.

To create this card I:
  • Printed the window digi on white card stock
  • Printed three extra flowers (two small and one big)
  • Used Squeezed Lemonade/Wild Honey/Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and sponge daubers to color each flower
  • Added white stamens with gel pen
  • Added a large golden pearl the center of the flowers
  • Colored the leaves with touch five markers
  • Fussy cut each flower and popped them up with foam mounting tape over the original ones

Next I:
  • cut out each of the window pains with a xacto knife
  • using the Scalloped Daisy border punch (Fiskars) I created a valance for my window
  • to finish off the window, I added piece of pink designer paper to the back
For the background:
  • I scored a piece of pink card stock every 1/2 inch to resemble siding
  • embossed a piece of gray card stock with the brick embossing folder (The Paper Studio)
  • layered both on a piece of black cardstock
  • added some butterflies with pearl centers to the window
Inside:
  • I added a light pink border (Monarch Butterfly punch - Martha Stewart)
  • altered one of the sentiments from the "True Beauty" digital set to read "Hello Beautiful Mother"
    • printed it and matted it on shimmery gray card stock
