Belle

It's Tic Tac Toe time over at The House That Stamps Built. Choose three items (across, down, or diagonally) to include on your creation, then come by the blog and link it up! I'm not sure if this fits Babies, Stitching, Bright Colors OR Pastel Colors, Stitching, and Patterned Paper better! Since I accented my pastels with brights maybe it's a mix of both!

To create my card I:
  • Ran a piece of cream card stock through my paper crimper and inked the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide
  • Sewed a piece of floral patterned paper to the center of my cream piece and distressed the edges
  • Glued a piece of crocheted lace across the bottom of my panel and adhered it to my kraft card front with my ATG gun
  • Embossed a cream piece of paper with the typewriter alphabet folder and inked it with walnut stain distress oxide
  • Layered my embossed piece on dark brown card stock and distressed the edges.
  • Hand cut a large red heart, inked it with walnut stain ink and picket fence distress stain
  • Stamped Belle on kraft card stock and colored her with prismacolor pencils (blending with baby oil)
  • Added some tiny pearls to the top left corner and a partially stamped sentiment to the bottom right corner
