Vintage Tea Pot

One last card for the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop this week. This one has a vintage feel and includes some of my favorite things -- crinkle ribbon and homemade flowers! This one may be my favorite one from the whole week.

To create my card I:
  • Stamped a piece of white card stock with the Script Background Stamp (Stampin' Up) with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide (Ranger) and inked the edges
  • Embossed a strip of white card stock with the Roses Texture Fades Embossing Folder (Sizzix-Tim Holtz) and added a strip of paper lace (Embroidery border punch - Martha Stewart)
  • Die cut a tag from the Tags, Scallop Combo #2 die from Sizzix and inked the edges with Frayed Burlap DO
  • Added the free printable Vintage Teapot (Graphics Fairy), a burlap string bow, and a heart button
  • Created crinkle ribbon from seam binding and Antique Linen/Vintage Photo Distress Ink (Ranger)
  • Stamped two different leaves from the Trendy Leaves stamp set (STAMPlorations) in Peeled Paint Distress Oxide (Ranger)
  • Added a Recollections rose and one of my Tattered Florals from THIS POST

How lovely. You have used elegant images like the teapot and those beautiful flowers, but you have used a rustic color palette. It all works perfectly, I love it! Great take on the challenge, thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge
