Bookmarks

Last month I won a $15 gift certificate to the Stamplorations store. Since they were having their big birthday bash with select items 50% off on Monday/Tuesday, I ended up getting quite a stash with my money!

I decided to use that big Trust In The Lord stamp to create some bright bookmarks to tuck into a few of my Shelter: Postmarked cards.

The bookmarks were fairly simple to make ... I free hand panted a large watercolor heart behind the stamped sentiment and added a few splatters around the edges in the same colors.

I created matching crinkle ribbon using distress inks and Hug Snug seam binding.

Supplies and Tools:
Ink: Mermaid Lagoon/Seedless Preserves, Abandoned Coral/Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron/Peacock Feathers Distress ink (Ranger), Black Tuxedo (Memento)
Misc. Crinkle Ribbon
Stamps: Trust in the Lord (Stamplorations)

These are striking Esther, I love you hand drew the heart and the stamping over them is so clear. The added splashes work a treat. And I always love to these ribbons used, I don’t have any...I am so bad at using ribbons, but love to se them and in these bright colours they work a charm x
