Sweet Simple Things

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I created for sweet friend who is a master gardener. This card will accompany a new plant for her flower beds!

I used Power Poppy's "Wish You Luck" digital stamp set for the main image and included a sentiment from "Sweet Simple Things."  I colored my image with Prismacolor Pencils and added three little sequins as accents.

Esther my dear friend... this is gorgeous! I LOVE how you color that flower bouquet. And the sentiment is so sweet.

WOW! Your little bunch of violets are so beautifully coloured that I think I can smell them! The sequins are a perfect touch and the black makes the whole arrangement sing. Thank you so much for joining in with the 400th challenge celebrations at The Paper Players.

Esther, this is gorgeous! Those flowers look so real! Thanks so much for the beautiful card and yummy treat that you sent me. It arrived today, which was perfect timing, as I'd just gotten results from yesterday's X-ray...still have pneumonia in both lungs. Another round of antibiotics - bah! Anyway, thank you for thinking of me!!!

Those colors are just beautiful. Your gardener friend is certain to fall in love with that beauty. And as for the prickly hugs on my cactus card, that's exactly what made me choose that word die ;) Glad you liked it.
