Let us give thanks

It's time for our Wednesday challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we have an inspiration board for you. This challenge is a fun cross between a photo challenge and a color challenge. You can choose to be inspired by the colors, the photograph, or both!

To create my card I:
  • Stamped 5016-N, Genealogy in Walnut Stain Distress Oxide (Ranger) on white card stock
  • Stamped 5127-K, Maple Leaf Sil. and 5110-I, Oak Leaf Sil. in these colors of Distress Oxide:
    • Walnut Stain, Fired Brick, Wild Honey
  • Tore the leaf panel at an angle and layered it over the text panel
  • Inked all my panels with Ground EspressoDistress Ink (Ranger)
  •  layered the stamped panels on brown card stock and embossed it all with the Basket Weave embossing folder from Darice
  • die cut a circle and scallop circle using Spellbinders Nestabilities
  • stamped the maple leaf in fired brick distress oxide on my die cut circle
  • stamped 2826-H, Let Us... over the leaf in walnut stain distress oxide and added faux stitching with a Sharpie marker
  • tied a twine bow around my card front and popped up my circle with mounting tape

  • For my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar
  • There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built
    • you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link or win

Simply put - Beautiful - love all the detail - and you use your distress oxides to the fullest. Love the colored twine you used.

How stunning, always like all your details, on this card the distressing, dry embossing, the twine, your stitching and all the layers. I take my time so I don't miss anything!
