Little Red Truck

It's time for a Tic Tac Toe Challenge over on The House That Stamps Built.  You know the drill...Choose three items (across, down, or diagonally) to include on your creation, then come by the blog and link it up! I chose the top row across --  Sparkle, Red, Winter Holidays.......and I guess it also fits the middle row down --- Snow, Red, and Embossing!

One of my friends recently purchased a pack of these holiday truck ornaments at Wal-mart and we decided to try and make cards with them. I also used the puffy snow tutorial from THIS POST.

Supplies and Tools
Embossing: Christmas Quilt Embossing Folder (Couture Creations)
Ink: Pine Needles/Fired Brick Distress Ink (Ranger)
Misc. Glitter
Repeat Impressions Stamps:
6806-U, Sheet Music
2220-G, All Is Calm

  • For my blog readers: Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store posted on the sidebar
  • There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built
    • you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link or win
  • One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month

Check out what the other design team members created:

Squealing with delight at the truck ornament with the Christmas tree in the back. I love this theme at all the stores this year and looked for a bigger truck to use for my decorations but couldn't find one. This is great and you made it fit into our challenge this week very nicely.

What a beautiful, cheery card, like the dimension of the tree and that snow, I still need to try your recipe for that!

What more can I say about this card than "I'm in love with it"? You are so creative, Esther.

Love your little truck embellishment, complete with tree, nestled amongst the snow with that fabulous embossed frame. Thank you for playing along with my colour challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

Adorable!! And what a fun technique to add the ornament to a card! It's a two fer--a card and an ornament for the recipient.
