Winter Wishes

Today I'm sharing a square Christmas card that features Gracillie's new "Winter Wishes" digital stamp set.

Supplies and Tools:
Dies: Tear Drop Circle (Spellbinders Nestabilities)
Ink: Walnut Stain Distress Oxide, Walnut Stain Distress Ink, Prismacolor Pencils, Touch Five markers, Glitter pens
Misc. Seam Binding, Scoring Board (Martha Stewart)
Paper: Holiday Traditions digital paper (Graciellie Design)
Stamps: Winter Wishes digital (Graciellie Design), Music Background (Stampin' Up)

To make the design in the background paper into a small motif I:
  • started with a plain white square
  • added a piece of Graciellie's Holiday Traditions paper to the top corner and resized it
  • added a second, third, and fourth lining them up as I went
  • saved the new piece of digital paper to my file

What clever layering of elements! The music score, the sponged edging and richly coloured wreath makes a beautiful focal point. Thank you for joining us again at The Paper Players.
