It's a Sketch!

Since there are five Wednesdays in May we get to do a sketch challenge over on the The House That Stamps Built. Here's the sketch Wendy gave us to work with this month...

Now that I'm looking at it, I guess I turned it upside-down or something --- my side pieces are opposite of the ones in the sketch. Can we just pretend I placed them where they go? (I even had it sitting in front of me, and I still messed it up.)

Supplies and tools:

For my blog readers:

  • Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store  by using the code: rr10ea
  • There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built
    • you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link or win
  • One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month

I think you turned the sketch up side down too, but it works! Wonderful!!

I don't think I would have noticed the "error" if you hadn't pointed it out. I love this image - one of my favorites and can be used for several different things. I really like your coffee stained doily.

I had to laugh because i do that plenty of times too, but I guess the sketch is supposed to be a jumping off spot right, do it up your way :)
This is just way too precious, such sweet coloring and love how you have used the doilies

I love your interpretation of the sketch with that darling little bear & kitty on a tag! The lacy accents look wonderful with the floral background too!

Sketches are definitely open for interpretation and as long as the bones are there, there is no "messing up"! This is very cute; one of my favorite RI animal images!
