One Layer Card

It's the first Wednesday of the month and that means it's a Designer's Choice challenge over on The House that Stamps Built. This week it was Shirley's turn to pick a theme and her pick is: "One layer - You can use embellishments just no second layer."

I have to admit, one-layer cards are really hard for me -- you don't want to know how many things ended up in the scrap pile before I came up with this card! I'm still not overly thrilled with the results, but....you have to stop somewhere!

Supplies and tools:

For my blog readers:

  • Enjoy the 10% discount code to the Repeat Impressions Store  by using the code: rr10ea
  • There's a new challenge every week over at  The House That Stamps Built
    • you don't have to use Repeat Impressions stamps to link or win
  • One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate on the first Wednesday of every month

What do you mean one layer cards are difficult for you - you rocked this one and more. Great job.

Well, from the looks of it, no one would ever guess you had a hard time with this! Love the colors and, of course, the beautiful butterfly!

How stunning is this, like how you carried the colors to the side with the random dots stamp!
