I had a friend over last Thursday and we both made "Pocket full of Posies" cards using the sun punch flower center technique that I recently discovered.
Since my blog friend Connie said she wasn't able to see the the pin I linked to in THIS POST -- here's a photo to show you how I made those cool flower centers.
Supplies and Tools:
- Tattered Florals Die (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
- Sun Punch
- Distress Oxide (Ranger) in these colors:
- Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade, Walnut Stain
- Distress Ink (Ranger) in these colors:
- Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles, Walnut Stain
- White Embossing Powder
- Versamark Watermarker Ink
- Monarch Butterflies Double Edge Punch - Martha Stewart
- Trendy Feathers (Stamplorations)
- Mixed Media Stencils (Faber-Castell)
- Garden Greens Thinlits (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
- Script Background Stamp (Stampin' Up)
- Brown Sharpie Marker
Here's a free template for the pocket we used on our cards.

Esther, this is such a stunning card! I love it because it has those big beautiful blooms, and I love that you shared your source for making the flower centers. I think I've made these centers one time, but they didn't look as fabulous as yours! Thank you so much for sharing what you love with us at Frilly and Funkie! Hugs!
Super cute! I was wondering about those flower centers too! I also pinned this post to save the pocket template. Love your design!
Ooh, how CUTE! Love the pocket and flowers!

Oh, this beautiful flower color is made of used lipstick ...
Very beautiful.
I am amazed by your creativity.
Continue to be passionate about being creative, Esther.
Esther these are just beautiful and love them in a pocket, I bought a pocket die a year ago to do something like this and still haven't used it, shame on me. Thanks so much for sharing how you made the centers, I will have to see if I have a punch like that, I just love the dimension that it gives to the flowers, love the colors you used here!
