Today I'm up on the Sweet n Sassy Blog sharing two fun cards Valentine cards with you!
My first card is pretty quick and easy to create. I used one of the heart tiles from the Texture Tiles 5 set to create an embossed background and then added some fun die cut - distressed hearts to the front.

My second card features the adorable sloth from Lots of Love -- Isn't he just the cutest?!
To create my background I embossed a piece of kraft card stock with a fun heart

The sloth was embossed in black embossing powder and painted with Sonnet water colours.
After fussy cutting him, I replaced the stamped strings with some fun baker's twine ones!

That first card is so deliciously warm and cosy in the red and kraft, Esther, with fabulous texture and dimension ... and that little sloth holding tight to his heart shaped balloons is just adorable on your second card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
wow Esther, these are superb. I just love the one for Time Out-so much texture-fab idea to use the corrugated card and this colour is picked up with the little touch of twine! Superb background and so good to see doily and how you added colour to it so it blends in so well. Wonderful design. Thanks for joining Time Out
Cute cute cards - love the sloth - they seem to be popular right now.
Oh my goodness the first one is beautiful, I so love the heart background and your 3 different hearts with colors and texture look so great together and like the splattering on them, the font on the sentiment is so elegant!
The second card is just too cute and brought a big smile to my face, he just looks very happy!
THese are just adorable! Love the vintage feel of the first one!
I am partial to the first card, I love this colour combination... but both are great and perfect for our Country View Challenge! Thanks for playing with us this month!
Two cute cards! I like all the layered elements and embellishment. The distressed/aged look is fantastic. Thanks for playing at Time Out Challenges!
