Quilted Love

The Stamp Simply team is featuring love themed cards  on the blog this week. I used the BRAND NEW Echo Park Cupid & Co paper pad to create a quilted background and added a sweet sentiment from the Farmhouse Simple Sentiments set. When creating paper quilts I like to emboss over them, as it gives the card a nice texture.

  • Reflected Damask Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug - Anna Griffin)

Beautiful card. I like how you've embossed your "quilt". It really add nice texture and dimension without adding a lot of bulk.

The pattern and mix of papers are beautiful and you're absolutely right, the embossing adds so much. It really looks alot like the quilts my mom and her grandmother used to make. Thanks so much for sharing with us at the Tic Tac Toe challenge this week!
