I'm up on the Stamp Simply blog today sharing one final Easter card. To create the background I cut a piece of designer paper (from My Favorite Spring Paper Pad) into strips of varying sizes and assembled them on a piece of white card stock. Once I had completed my "quilt pattern" I trimmed the paper to size and dry embossed it to add dimension and texture. The flower stems were cut from mixed media paper and inked with distress inks.
Supplies from Stamp Simply:
- Easter Stamp Set
- Fishtail Banner Dies
- Baker's Twine
- Wildflower Stems #2 (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
- My Favorite Spring Paper Pad (Echo Park)
- Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
Other Supplies:
- Christmas Quilt Embossing Folder (Couture Creations)
- Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide (Ranger)
- These colors of Distress Ink (Ranger):
- Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, Shabby Shutters
