Stamp Simply Fall Release

I'm up on the Stamp Simply blog today sharing a set of blue cards that feature THREE NEW products just released this week.

To create my first card I masked off the moon with a circle die and inked up my mixed media paper with three colors of distress ink (listed below). Next, I stamped the cattails stamp from Autumn Silhouettes in black waterproof ink, and then quickly stamped again to create a lighter version. I did cut the sympathy word die from both black and white card stock and layered them slightly offset to create a shadow effect. I removed the mask, embossed the card front with the woven embossing folder, and then added the sentiment.

  Supplies from Stamp Simply:

Other Supplies:

  • Yeti Ink (Lawn Fawn)
  • These colors of Distress Ink (Ranger):
    • Uncharted Mariner, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire
To create the second card I stamped the Falling Leaves border die diagonally on my card front in uncharted mariner distress ink. I inked the edges and embossed it with the woven embossing folder to add some texture. Next, I inked up a piece of mixed media paper with the three colors of distress ink listed above and stamped the border die again - this time in white pigment ink. I trimmed it to fit across the bottom of my card and  added a piece of venise lace underneath. A couple die cut leaves, tag, and bow finish off this card.

oh these are very striking done in the blues, I like the offset of the sentiment in the first one.
Such pretty stamping in the second, great background for your pretty white leaves to be against and that lace is a lovely touch with it!
