A friend of a friend commissioned me to create a birthday card for her mom who is turning 95 this month, so I pulled out some of my favorite Papertrey Ink supplies and created a 3D floral card. I also tried (for the 1st time) creating a box envelope so the flowers wouldn't get crushed in delivery. I used this tutorial from Heartfelt Creations.
Supplies and Tools:
- Vintage Postage Stamps (Papertrey Ink)
- Vintage Postage Dies (Papertrey Ink)
- Into the Blooms: Dahlia Die (Papertrey Ink)
- Script Background Stencil (Papertrey Ink)
- Stacked Deckle Dies (Sizzix -Tim Holtz)
- Leafy Twigs Die (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
- White Pearls
- These colors of Distress Ink (Ranger):
- Vintage Photo, Saltwater Taffy, Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Rustic Wilderness, Peeled Paint, and Scattered Straw

Gorgeous, I just love how you colored the flowers and how they pop against your tan background, love the touch of texture that background die gives to it and the pretty stamp with the leaf is a great touch to top it off, this lady will just love the card you made for her!
