Easter Sour Cream Containers

Today I have some fun sour cream containers turned carrots to share with you. These fun little gifts are filled with jelly beans for Easter, but you can easily change them up for any season or event.

Here's how to create these Carrot Treats:

  1. Cut paper into 3” x 4” rectangles
  2. Stamp and emboss floral design
  3. Roll into a cylinder
  4. Glue together using strong adhesive (I used my hot glue gun)
  5. Pinch one end together and glue
  6. Fill with candy
  7. Die cut grass for carrot top
  8. Pinch the other open together in the opposite direction from the 1st
  9. Add grass and staple closed

Note: I added used some ripe persimmon distress ink to darken the edges of my containers, and added dark green highlights to my carrot tops with rustic wilderness.

I love these! I remember doing these sour cream containers a long time ago, and your all-over stamping and embossing really makes them extra special. The "grass" is a perfect addition, and that chick...so cute! Thanks for playing with our Easter challenge this week at the Players!

Esther, these are great! I've never tackled little packages like this but now I'm definitely inspired. Thank you for sharing them with us at The Paper Players.
