I'm up on the Stamp Simply blog today sharing this cheery sunflower card. I embossed the background with the lace embossing folder from Tim Holtz and then lightly rubbed my chipped sapphire ink pad over the raise portion. I spritzed it with water and heat set to give the background a mottled look. The flower was stamped on mixed media paper in waterproof ink and colored with my Arteza Real Brush Pens.

What a beautiful dark blue embossed background on this Esther - it really makes your lovely layering of gingham, lace and pretty die cut sunflower pop off your card! thanks for joining us at Inkspirational: mood board! Julia xx
Love the blue color of the background and how it stands in contrast to the sunflower. Such a pretty card. Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!
