Think Spring With TULIPS!

There's nothing that shouts spring to me as loudly as tulips do! They are my very favorite spring flower (maybe my favorite flower - period - love 'em).  
I made these two cards around the paper pieced tulips from Scrapbooks Etc.  As soon as I saw this paper piecing pattern I knew I wanted to use it.  Not sure if you can see it in the above picture but that tulip stands out from the card a bit.
I used my water color pencils to add some "detail" to it and then while it was still damp I added some dimension by shaping ---curving it's edges.
Can you see the tiny fluttering butterflies on the card -- they were lots of fun too

    These are beautiful! The first one is my favorite. I love how you combined the dictionary page, sheet music, bird's nest image and rustic frame! Great job!
