Flower Accessories

Remember this post where I showed you flowers I'd made with fabric to be worn as accessories on matching outfits?.........Well, I got the "bright" idea to alter some silk flowers for the same purpose.  When Michael's had a sale on their silk stems recently I bought some and made them into pins to wear with different outfits.
Here you can see the back of one.  I snipped the stem close to the petals and hot glued a piece of fabric to the back.  I then attached a pin (with hot glue) and wa-la all ready to wear!
Simple and easy way to add a bit of "pizazz" to your wardrobe!

Love this! I've done the same thing to jazz up some costumes - using velcro as well as pins. I always have to have embellishment.
Joy!
