Clay Embellishments Tutorial

Today I'm sharing a fun tutorial for making embellishments for your projects with air dry clay and silicone molds.
Step One: Gather your supplies - Air Dry Clay, Silicone Molds, Plastic Knife
Step Two: Press a glob of air dry clay into your mold - filling all the cracks
Step Three: Carefully slide your plastic knife across the top to remove excess clay
Step Four: Repress the clay
Step Five: Pop the clay embellishment out and let air dry for 24 hours
Step Six: Paint or use as is to embellish your projects
*Note - You can use either air dry or bake clay - I chose air dry because you got more for your money!
The air dry clay works best in the deeper molds, while the calking (earlier post this week) works best in the shallow molds. I just love how these pretty little clay butterflies look on my card!! Be sure and come by tomorrow for a little GIVEAWAY I'll be hosting here on my blog!
Supplies and Tools:
White/Blue/Craft Cardstock, Clay, Silicone Molds, Acrylic Paint, Washi Tape, Cherry Blossom Embossing Folder (Darcie), White Pigment Ink (over the embossing), Hello Doily Thinlets (Sizzix)

Oh my goodness is that ever beautiful, I was just given some molds from a card making friend that didn't want them anymore with some clay but not air dry clay, the kind you have to bake, I will have to give this a try :) So love your painting of them too :) Thanks for sharing!
