I've been "on a mission" this year to improve my coloring skills by watching youtube videos, picking up tips from the experts, and practicing.... practicing..... practicing. It seems like everyone has their own unique ideas and techniques for their style of coloring. (For example: some start with the light colors and progress to darker....others start dark and work their way to light). I'm not sure there's a "right" or "wrong" way to color....I think each artist has to find what works and is comfortable for them.
All that to say: Power Poppy has teamed up with Kit and Clowder to offer both a free download and a free coloring class. I learned a lot about shadows and light source from the class, and I love this pretty flower included in the freebie download. To check it out for yourself visit THIS post over at Power Poppy.
